6 Ways to Infuse your Custom Branding into your Client Experience

You’ve officially wrapped up your custom branding experience with a brand designer, hooray! Don’t let all that hard work, strategy and investment fall flat. Keep the momentum going with your custom branding and make sure you thoughtfully infuse it into your client experience.

Whether you’re an interior designer, elopement photographer, wedding planner or PR firm, many of these steps will be the same for more service based brands. Let’s dive into where our design studio recommends layering in and refreshing your branding after launch!

Bespoke and Luxury Branding Assets

One.

Your Website Experience

This is a top priority for most clients, as your website is often the first impression for many new visitors or customers. Whether you’re a service based brand or have an e-commerce shop will determine if you’re updating your Squarespace or Shopfiy website–but either way, there are some key things to do immediately, if you aren’t working with a website designer.

Simple things like updating your website’s logo, colors, and fonts will go a long way. This should be bare minimum if you’re going the DIY route. Just reference your branding manual or style guide to ensure you’re populating the correct color codes for web.

And if you’re ready to invest in a luxury or high-quality website experience, working with a Squarespace website designer can really help elevated your overall online presence, as well as take a lot of the heavy lifting off your plate–after all you’re a business owner, not a website expert. Made by NF specializes in custom Squarespace websites for interior designers, photographers and wedding professionals, alongside other service-based brands.

two.

Social Media Presence

Another avenue for almost all business owners is social media. Whether it’s Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or another channel, having a consistent look and feel is going to help resonate with your audience and create that brand recognition over time. If you’ve worked with a brand designer, there’s a good chance you’re walking away with a set of social media templates to kick things off. Be suer to update your social profile icon with your new brand mark, and don’t stray away from your established branding for new social posts. We all know how easy it is to get lost in a rabbit hole, especially if you’re creating assets in Canva.

three.

Digital Assets

Many times interior designers, photographers or event planners will need a series of digital assets refreshed such as info guides, presentations or pricing guides. It’s important to infuse your new branding, colors, fonts, etc. into these to ensure that consistent look and feel across all platforms and client touch points.

four.

Print Collateral

We all live in a digital world these days, but having on-brand print collateral such as business cards, thank you notes, totebags, packaging and so forth can really take your brand to the next level–especially if you’re in the luxury or high-end market. These small bespoke details can help elevate your brand. I always recommend working with a brand designer on print collateral, this way you don’t have to sift through a bunch of paper stocks, find the right printer and deal with dielines. Let us design pros handle that and you’ll receive a beautiful brand that you can enjoy in real life.

five.

Digital Marketing Materials

Don’t forget about other avenues you use to market your brand like a newsletter. Here at Made by NF we are big fans of Flodesk, as their platform makes it easy to stay on brand. Many of our clients will add on a Flodesk template/restyle to ensure their newsletters are hitting inboxes on-brand and with confidence. If you’re a course creator or have any other sort of platforms like this, it’s a good idea to check in and make sure everything feels cohesive with the new branding.

six.

Miscellaneous Client Facing Items

And let’s not forget about all those smaller miscellaneous places our brand logo or assets pop up. Things like email signatures, CRMs, invoicing, contracts and more. Take note of where your logo appears and update it with your new branding.
